Setting up the data account

On the device, tap Start and select Settings.

Tap the Connections tab.

Tap the Connections icon.

Tap the Advanced tab.

Tap Select Networks.

Tap New…
-
In the Enter a name for these settings: field, enter Virgin MMS

Tap the Modem tab.

Tap New...
-
In the Enter a name for the connection: field, enter Virgin MMS
-
Tap the Select a modem: drop down list and select Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G).
-
Tap Next.
-
In the Access point name: field, enter goto.virginmobile.uk and tap on Next.
- Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.

Tap Finish.

Tap ok three times.

Tap x to close the settings
Setting up the MMS account
-
On the device, tap Start > (Messages) > Messaging or Email
-
Tap SMS \ MMS > Menu > MMS Options OR Menu > Options
-
Tap on the Servers or Profile tab.
-
Tap New.
-
In the Server name: field, enter Virgin MMS
-
In the Gateway: field, enter 193.30.166.2
-
In the Port number: field, enter 8080
-
In the Server address: field, enter http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002
-
Tap the Connect via: drop down list and select Virgin MMS
-
Tap the WAP Version: drop down list and select WAP 2.0.
-
Tap Ok or Done
-
Tap and hold on Virgin MMS and select Set As Default.
- Press the end call key to return to the home screen.
The settings have been applied and are ready for use.
